What a wonderful essay!!! I'd never be able to express all my thoughts like that, so clearly.

You've chosen three very interesting but anooying characters. Andrew irritates me, but I like him *ducks objects thrown at her*. He tries so hard to fit in. He wants to be a Scoobie more than anything else in the world, because itºd give him a sense of purpose. In a series with very strong characters, specially the lead ones who even get to decide who Buffy could date or not, Andrew is a born follower.

Riley... Well, living in Spain has given me all the "women should be in the kitchen" arguments I can handle for a lifetime. Riley in my world would appear, sweep me off my feet, open his big mouth and get left. It's distressing to say the least to see Buffy falling for that kind of thing for the sake of her friends and ex.

Kennedy makes my teeth ache too. I can't stand spoilt brats (having been a teacher to too many) and the series did not need a lesbian Buffy. However in Empty Places it's not her I hate, it's Dawn.

How come Dawn didn't come into the poll?? I know a good number of people who hate her as actively as Kennedy :P
