Didn't really think about Andrew much at all. Though once TGIQ came I basically hated him both as the bearer of bad news and his own behavior. (Of course , I hated Buffy more for her hypocritical Immortal dating.)The after finding out that it was all a cover and it was Andrew's idea I hated him even more.Surely there was some way for him to tell Spike it was fake.(My opinion of Buffy went up only a bit because of the lack of Spike mention in the comics except for his appearance in a sex fantasy.)
Hated Riley after very little introduction because it seemed like Willow was practically shoving him down her throat. His being her TA disturbed me because it made it look like Buffy was screwing her way to a better grade. And the fact that he belonged to the Initative, seriously increased the hatred . Not to mention Buffy joining them lowered my opinion of her. The Initative had a very black and white view of things (as evidenced by thier treatment of Oz) meant they they were a danger to the Scoobies and Buffy as well since none of them were really baseline normal. Even Xander, the supposedly normal one was a demon magnet (no telling what his dna would show).Add to that his reaction to Buffy's pulling in on herself because of mother's illness .Even though she didn't show weakness, he still could have been there for her and showed support.Instead he chose to get what seemed to be a sexual release from vampires and by doing so undermined her reputation by providing a weak spot for her enemies to poke at plus he was a potential security risk because he could've been turned. Then he blamed her for his behavior while issuing an ultimatum even though he had already made arrangements to leave town.He comes back into town and forgets to mention the little detail of his wife until Buffy nearly kisses him. The whole Spike and egg thing smelled like something he set up given all the camera angles and the fact that Spike is unlikely to have called himself the Doctor given the demon Doc knocking him off the tower.Plus it seems like he has gotten back into shady demon hunting business again.
Kennedy-First though when she came through the door was spoiled rich brat. The way she came onto Willow made me think of her as the female equivalent of a frat boy with a pocketful of roofies -so sure was she that she would get what she wanted. Add to that her bullying behavior. Then ther's the way she seemed to start the mutiny against Buffy and Willow sided with her against the friend who let her back int o her house after she tried to end the world. The relationship between her and Willow was entirely too fast. I was surprised to find out from the comics that it's still ongoing.
And as for Willow lingering in Gay celibacy. I wouldn't have considered it that, I would have thought it a combination of grief and someone who has majorly lost control trying to get thier act together without causing any deaths .And I never considered Willow gay anyway. I consider her to be bisexual but just a massive control freak that she felt she had to go around going Gay Now! . She spent years mooning after Xander and then was with Oz and even then she cheated on Oz with Xander not with a girl.
