Fic: At Dawn (Rebel without a Cause, FRT)

First in the Yuletide fics I wrote this year.

Character Meme

For the heck of it (and because I can't seem to get a fic moving again), I thought I'd go back and do the character meme I did for Darla, Dru, Spike, and Angel over again for Draco prior to his first year at Hogwarts, roughly before "Shadowed Life" beings, just for the heck of it. Obviously, some of these change over the years...

Oddly, I've found out several things from this. Number 1 is Draco does not like to be quizzed, especially on subjects he's not familiar with. Frankly, I think the character would have blown off the interviewer a while back and gone out to ride his broom or have a toasted cheese sandwich after five or six questions. Number 2, which I already knew, is that he's remarkably ignorant about a lot of things. He's also tending to sound like he's quoting some pureblood rulebook he swallowed at birth, which oddly makes it sound like he's not so much a separate person as a human extension of pureblood mania at this point since he's never known anything else. He's not a comfortable character at this point.
