I started the eyedrops for my first cataract surgery, which will be Wednesday (the second is the following Wednesday). The priest was kind enough to give me a blessing after Mass today, so that was nice. At least this one is something I can do something about.

Oh, good luck! I remember when my grandmother had it done in the 60s, she couldn't move for a week. Thank goodness it's so much better now -- I know it will be fine, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on Weds just the same!

Yep, in some things they really have made improvements, and this is one of them.

I found it easier to make a list of the drops so that you remember to do them because there are so many of them - both pre and post surgery.

They actually gave me quite a nicely put together checklist for the drops for each day.
