Cinderella and Ickiness

I saw the new version of Cinderella starring Lady Rose McClare Lily James and Cate Blanchett. I think the word "charming" applies here. Also, Branagh killed off poor Derek Jacobi again. He seems to like doing that. And it was fun to see Sophie McShera (Downton Abbey's Daisy) doing something here too. And I didn't realize that the fairy Godmother was Helena Bonham Carter for some bizarre reason.
That said, a group of about 7 or 8 people was further down my aisle, several of them children. They wouldn't shut up. Two of them got up twice to hit the snack bar (these were about 12 years old). A small child would intermittently cry. And then came the big moment: Cinderella tries on the shoe, it fits, and we find out what she's going to do to her step-mother and step-sisters, and... one of the kids throws up all over the place. The entire theatre gagged. The family decided to just remain there until the credits rolled, because apparently a vomiting kid was no reason to miss the last part of the movie. Nice.
I'm still correcting essays. They still stink.
