Now, we use the DVD option because Engineer is a sensitive snowflake who doesn't like the video quality on streaming, but it works fine for us since plenty of stuff we want to see isn't available on streaming anyway.
We've actually been impressed with their customer service. We're on the two disks at a time plan. Any time our next disk is delayed (because the only available copy is not in our state, for example), they'll give us a bonus disk. Also, if we've gotten a broken disk, they've done the same thing.
it's worth it if you watch more than three movies a month. Between tv and baseball I have no time to watch dvds right now so I'm going to cancel mine for awhile.
If it has the DVDs you want,it's worth it. I pay $8.63 a month and just have the 'One DVD at a time, no streaming' package. (At least I don't think I have streaming, I might.) It works well when there are DVDs I want. But, I have to say: my 'On Hold' list (which is DVDs that they don't have or are lost) is twice the size of my DVD queue. They also seem to be trying to move more toward streaming, so you may want to check out what they have.
Well worth it, if you have the time to take advantage of it.
One thing about the Wii: remember that's it's only outputting in standard definition, so the picture can't be better than DVD quality, which is perfectly fine, but if you have a laptop or something that can output to your TV, you'll get much better picture.
